I have noticed it won't let me change driving mode on my EX-L if I'm in a turn, I believe when accelerating. I guess it doesn't want the chance of going into sport and getting a decent power change in a turn, esp if it was wet out. But I have never had a problem with them in stop and go traffic. I agree with the original post that bmw should enable us to default to having the front sensors on. If Mercedes can figure out a way to do it I have to believe bmw can as well. Just did my first DIY oil change on the 3.0. Put the car up on some boards, drained the oil, added new and swapped out the filter. Filled it with fresh M1 oil and went to take it off the ramps...but now it won't go into gear.
